Pop Goes my Heart...

Taking a page from my sister's book I just need to say "I LOVED IT" to get the full effect say it again and kick your leg up.

I loved it so much so I would buy it and in today's world with Netflix (here comes another "I Love it" kick because ever since I found Netflix its a whole new world for me) that means a lot. It was such a fun surprise. I initially rented it mostly due to the cast, Drew Barrymore is just wonderful, especially since her Julia Gulia days, and Hugh Grant, is hysterical, together they are a beautiful melody. I can hear you groaning now from the pun but work with me here. It really was a good movie. Drew as Sophie was perfect, she was the girl who you would love to be, loved her clothes in the movie, loved her lines and when she met her ex, she froze, she was real, she was great. One of the best scenes was definitely the beginning. Sophie, as a responsible adult, has taken charge of watching her niece and nephew, the tweens, and like any responsible adult, she and the children stay up past their bedtime playing video games, but the best part is when the parents come and to buy the children time as they run to their bed, she closes the door in the parents face. Ah, I hope that's me one day, closing the door on the parents not the other way around. Kitty and I, remember her from the pickle bucket, we gave it three meows out of four, the last meow died out when she stuck her face in my ice cream bowl and finished the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Hope she isn't lactose intolerant too.

To get the feel of this 80's infused movie, check out the link from YouTube below, its definitely worthy the 2 minutes and 29 seconds, I've watched it several times since the movie since I'm trying to teach my husband the pop dance move. Pop goes my heart!!!!

Yes, definitely an unexpected movie but great nonetheless! Poor kitty. Or should I say poor Frank? Between you having the Ice Cream and Kitty possibly being LI, I'm sure he had a hard night sleeping ...
