Momma your foot is huge!!!

This was what my baby kitty said to me as I submerged my foot in ice water to keep it from burning. Notice her concern quickly passed and she began playing with the water instead. Yup she loves me....anyway its clear to say summer has started and all the mosquitoes in the neighborhood have discovered where I live. Apparently suburb mosquitoes have no less manner than the city breed as I was bit on a Friday night while sleeping in my own bed. Without any regard to my privacy those horrible insects crept into my house and took a nice bite out of my foot. Yes I woke up with a fat foot, literally. Most of the weekend was in a haze from the Benedryl I needed to take, thank God for Benedryl, and ice, oh yes ice, lots of ice was needed to make me look normal and my daddy God bless him was kind enough to give me an empty bucket of pickles that I used to soak my fat food. Well at one point it became unbearable, now remember all this started because some stupid insect was a burglar, a thief in the night. Yeah so I had to head over to the ER upon the instruction of my kind doctor, where I found out the blood suckers left me with a nice little ol' infection called cellulitis, sound gross and it felt gross. At least from the experience I have learned a couple of things...1. buy a mosquito net, 2. keep a water bottle next to you to keep away a cat if you need a soak and 3. Riddle Hospital isn't such a bad place after all, but I have no intention of visiting it again for sometime. 4. Always keep OFF spray next to your back door. 5. [look i was off my feet for sometime and I had a lot of time for reflecting] Daddy and his reciprocating saw ROCK!!!!! :)

Darling, I'm so sorry that your foot looked like the GoodYear Man (sorry, Mom talked about him this weekend & he's on my mind). But cheer up, you're starting to look normal again :) Especially with your piggies all painted.
