207 Wasted Minutes of My Life

Yes, you read that correctly. I’ve wasted 207 Minutes of My Life. How, you ask? By watching films that stunk worse then a packed Septa Bus on a hot summer day. The films that continue to suck the life out of me as I write this are The Number 23 and Perfect Stranger.

To be fair here, I never heard anything (good or bad) about them so that’s my own damn fault for watching them and thinking a) Jim Carrey is good in anything but a comedy and b) Halle Berry can act.

The Number 23 stars Jim Carry who I usually love to watch ... In comedies that is. He plays a dog-catcher who receives a book from his wife on his birthday. The title of said book? You guessed it – ‘The Number 23’. He becomes obsessed with the book and from then on, it just gets more ridiculous by the second. Aye-ya-yai, I should have watched ‘Dumb and Dumber’ instead.

Tracker … 98 minutes wasted. Blech.

To be honest, I watched Perfect Stranger thinking Bruce Willis would have more screen time. Dummy me. Halle fumbles her way through the film as a writer for a New York paper. An old friend visits her with some dirt on a wealthy Ad Executive (Bruce Willis) and shows up dead about a week later. I really should have stopped here but I wanted to see how Brucy looked in his old age. If you feel the need to see Bruce, pop in a DVD of ‘Die Hard’. As for this movie, it can go ‘Yippie Ka Yay M… F…” for all I care.

Tracker … 109 minutes wasted.
Doh, I really need to read reviews before I start DVR’ing movies like a madwoman.

Oh! Poor sister! I could have told you all about The Number 23 and what a G*d awful movie it was! As for Perfect Stranger? I loved the TV show but, I never heard of the movie. Here's a pointer though, if Halle Berrie's in it, don't watch it! She ain't been in anything good since BAPS! Which is the female version of The Fat Boys if you're wondering.
