So I sent an email to my family members this morning and thought I’d blog about it too since I’m so excited about it …
I've just started sewing for the first time in my life and I’m actually enjoying it!! So you know what this means, my poor family members will be subjected to handmade / sewn gifts from me from now on.
How well am I at it you ask yourself? Take a look for yourself. Keep in mind again this is the first time if sewn in my life. Ever. For real.
The green mouse is my first try and the gray is my second. Not too shabby if I have to say so myself! Even Baby Bear wasn’t scared when she saw them!
I have to give props to my momma of course (poor thing, she had to walk me through it completely) and my girl Teresa Levy who has her own website at http://sewingstars.typepad.com/ and who is totally better then me and has the mouse pattern on her website free for us poor souls to try.
