Well, election day is here and I've done my civic duty for the year! Of course we already know the winner of this year's mayoral contest but even so, at least one more vote was cast to voice opposition to the status quo. Hopefully, no matter who wins, there will be some improvements in the safety and cleanliness of our streets. And after today the city government can get back to doing what's really important, like banning trans-fats, sorting through citizens garbage to make sure they're recycling and stopping and searching innocent people without warrant or constitutional authority. It's great to live in a free land.....
